Biography
Tugan Tezcaner, MD received his medical degree from Ankara University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Gazi University. After finishing government and military service in different regions of Turkey, he commenced working at Baskent University School of Medicine Ankara Hospital as attending physician. Dr. Tezcaner is currently an Assistant Professor of General Surgery at Baskent University School of Medicine. He has also published scholarly works on general surgery and emergency surgery topics. He has also written and / or edited several textbooks focusing on surgery.
Research Interest
His research interests include acute care surgery, minimal invasive GI surgery, colorectal diseases and regenerative medicine&stem cells.
