Nano magnetism

Nano magnetism, the scientific field dedicated to the study of Nano scale magnetic objects, which discoveries the interaction of magnetization with spin currents. At the atomic level magnetism can be described through the overlap of electron wave functions, with their spin interactions, the Nano meter length scale it becomes more difficult to predict the behavior of a magnetic system. Magnetic nanostructures are being developed for use in many aspects of our daily life, spanning areas such as data storage, sensing and biomedicine, world wide range of applications. Examples of Nano magnets are ferromagnetic metals, rare earth magnetic atoms and transition metal.
