Nano device
Nano device is a device with at least one overall dimension in the Nano scale, or comprising one or more Nano scale components essential to its operation. Nano devices are critical enablers that will allow mankind to exploit the ultimate technological capabilities of electronic, magnetic, mechanical, and biological systems. Examples of research efforts in Nano Devices research include Photonic and meta-material devices, Bio/chemical/Nano sensing devices, II-VI/III-V compound optoelectronics and laser devices, Electron and nuclear spin devices, Energy harvesting systems, Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), Microfluidics and Microsystems, Low dimensional nanostructures, Topological insulator electric and photonic systems, Bioelectronics.
