Nano crystal

Nano crystal is a material particle having at least one dimension smaller than 100 nanometres, based on quantum dots. These are composed of atoms in either a single or poly crystalline arrangement. The size of nanocrystals distinguishes them from larger crystals. For example, silicon nanocrystals can provide efficient light emission while bulk silicon does not and may be used for memory components. Possible future uses of nanocrystals include Production of hydrogen, Removal of pollutants and toxins, Medical imaging, Bio-tags for gene identification, Drug manufacture, Protein analysis, Flat-panel displays, Illumination, Optical and infrared lasers, Magneto-optical memory chips, Self-organized smart materials.

Nanomaterial chemistry and technology journal welcomes new research and articles related to Nanocrystal. Nanomaterial chemistry and technology is a global open access journal maintaining high standards of scientific excellence and its editorial board ensures a rapid peer review process.
