Gold Nanowires
Gold nanowires were synthesized by utilizing anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates in combination with direct electrode position. The morphology and structure of AAO template and gold nanowires were exposed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-ray diffraction, respectively. Cyclic voltammogram and amperometric mode were used to measure the performance of glucose biosensors, with lower detection limit of 5 μM and wide linear range between 20 μM and 2 mM with fast response were achieved by glucose biosensor in the presence of gold nanowires. The gold nanowire plays a major role in biological medicinal field, energy production or emulation, environment background, and even in the formation of electronics.
