Nano molecules

Nano molecules (NMs) are nanoparticles with a compositionally precise number of metal atoms protected by thiolate ligands. They show interesting size dependent properties that differ from those of bulk metal and single atoms. Gold NMs are the most studied, due to their superior stability. Action of Nano molecules possess unique physical, chemical, electronic, electrical, mechanical, magnetic, thermal, dielectric, optical, and biological properties. Metal oxide nanoparticles are of great interest for use as potential antimicrobial agents because of their unique optical, electronic, and magnetic properties. The applications of Nano molecules in medicine have recently been evaluated in reports highlighting the in vitro antimicrobial activities of nanoparticles, the use of nanomaterial in the production of implants that inhibit microbial colonization, and the possible potential adverse effects of Nano molecules on human health and the environment. Target-specific killing of tumor cells while sparing healthy human cells in the process of cancer chemotherapy is another significant application of Nano molecules. Further studies are warranted to improve knowledge of nanomaterial and their potential use in various fields, including and not limited to medicine, agriculture, veterinary medicine, food science and technology and environmental sciences.

Nanomaterial chemistry and technology is a global open access journal maintaining high standards of scientific excellence and its editorial board ensures a rapid peer review process and Nanomaterial chemistry and technology welcomes all research works on Nano and biomolecules. And also as well as case reports on Nano-medicine, articles on Nano-scale materials, research on Nano robotics, research on nanoparticles, and also deals with the Nano science and technology journals.
