Patient autonomy permits the health care providers to educate the patient however does not permit the health care providers to form the choice for the patient. The principle of respect for autonomy, sometimes related to permitting patients to form their own choices concerning that health care interventions they will or will not receive. An integral part of patient autonomy is that the ability makes decision over bodily integrity. However this depends on patient being given the information during a manner that they perceive.
