Hemolytic-uremic syndrome

Hemolytic-uremic syndrome is a group of blood disorders characterized by low red blood cells, acute kidney failure, and low platelets. Symptoms include bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, and weakness. Kidney problems and low platelets then occur as the diarrhea is improving.  Most cases occur after infectious diarrhea due to a specific type of E. coli . Atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome is due to a genetic mutation and presents differently.  Nursing Care Journal is interested in the special fields related to the topics of this Journal. Nursing care Journal discusses the latest research innovations and important developments in this field.
