Breast Cancer Care
Breast cancer develops from breast tissue in which signs may include a lump in the breast, a change in shape of the breast, a red or scaly patch of skin, fluid coming from the nipple. Alcohol consumption, obesity, lack of physical exercise, ionizing radiation, hormone replacement therapy during menopause and having children late or not at all are main causes of breast cancer. Mammogram, ultrasound, MRI is the imaging tests used to detect breast cancer. Usage of biopsy method helps in detecting the type os cancer, size of a tumor, how far it has spread, whether it is invasive or noninvasive. Cancer treatment will depends on type, stage, hormone sensitivity, age, overall health, and preferences of the individual.
Surgery, biological therapy, or targeted drug therapy, hormone therapy, chemotherapy is used for the treatment of cancer. Surgical method called as Lumpectomy is used to remove the tumor and a small amount of healthy tissue around it and removing the lobules, ducts, fatty tissue, nipple, areola, and some skin and lymph nodes and muscle in the chest wall is called as Mastectomy. Radiation therapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy are post-surgical methods used to kill any remaining cancer cells, hormone blocking therapy will helps in prevents hormone sensitive breast cancers from returning after treatment.

We invite manuscripts which are novel and highly innovative in detecting cancer of all forms. Clinical trial studies, research on new therapeutic agents, drugs and chemicals and new concepts for detection and treatment of breast cancer. It is an open access journal maintained by Edelweiss publications. The journal follows rapid review process with the Eminent Editorial Board.
