Dental Restoration

A dental restoration or dental filling is a treatment to re-establish the capacity, integrity, and morphology of missing tooth structure resulting from caries or outer injury and additionally to the substitution of such structure supported by dental implants. They are of two broad types direct and indirect and are further classified by location and size. A root channel filling, for example, is a therapeutic strategy used to fill the space where the dental pulp normally resides. Reestablishing a tooth to great shape and capacity requires two stages: (1) setting up the tooth for placement of restorative material or materials, and (2) position of these materials.

The dentistry journal like Dental Research and Management offers a stage for researchers in oral and maxillofacial pathology field and related subjects.
