Prediabetes
Prediabetes is also referred to as impaired fasting glucose/ impaired glucose tolerance Prediabetes is a state in which blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not enough to diagnosis type 2diabetes.
Normal body makes insulin hormone to control blood sugar. When a person has prediabetes body does not make enough insulin and might not respond to insulin properly. Prediabetes makes more likely to get heart disease or have a stroke and it is diagnosed by Fasting plasma glucose test and Oral glucose tolerance test.
