Childhood obesity
Childhood obesity is defined as the accumulation of the fat in the body. This is seen mostly in the children and teenagers, which affects the health and leads to the many health issues such as High blood pressure and in which cholesterol leads to diabetics and cardiovascular diseases.
The obesity is caused due to the many reasons such as the family history, Behavioral factors, life style, Genetic factors, environmental factors, mental condition etc. This can be prevented by the changing of the food habits, parents should help their children in the physical activities and maintain the enough sleep, consult the doctor once in the year and maintain the proper diet. Research is ongoing in order to reduce the childhood obesity in the future.
