Hematology is the study of internal medicine that deals with the physiology, pathology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and prevention of blood related disorders in childhood is called as Pediatric Hematology. A medical practitioner who has special training in diagnosing and treating blood disorders in children is Pediatric hematologist.
