Winner of the Chu- Tian Scholars Program in Hubei Province, Master supervisor. In recent years, he has been committed to the preparation of novel micro or nano-materials, carbon materials, 2D materials and their applications of photo/electro-catalysis, surface-enhanced Raman scattering, optoelectronic devices, food safety, environmental pollution control and analysis as well as first-principles calculations and so on. He has achieved some meaningful research results. Meanwhile, he has been joined in major projects of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology 863 major projects and National Natural Science Foundation of China. As first author and corresponding author, he has published approximate 40 papers, such as 2D materials, Carbon, Applied Surface Science. He is an editor of Modern Concepts in Material Science, an editor of American Research Journal of Materials Science, an editorial board of Advances in Materials, an editorial board of Ukrainian Journal of Ecology, an editorial board of Open Journal of Nutrition and Food Sciences, a guest associate editor of Advances in Condensed Matter Physics, an editor of Journal of Liaocheng University and a senior reviewer of ACS Nano, Small and so on.

Vijaykumar Sutariya, B.Pharm., M.Pharm., Ph.D., R.Ph. Education: Dr. Sutariya received Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master in Pharmacy from L. M. College of Pharmacy, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India and Ph.D. in Pharmacy from The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, India. He did his postdoctoral training in the field of pharmaceutics and drug delivery from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN. 
Current Position: Dr. Sutariya is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the USF College of Pharmacy. Dr. Sutariya has joint appointment with Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Translational Medicine at University of South Florida 
Professional Experience: Dr. Sutariya has been promoted to associate professor with tenure in August 2017 at the University of South Florida (USF). Prior to joining USF, Dr. Sutariya served as an Assistant Professor of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). Dr. Sutariya has published more than 40 manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and has presented at various national and international meetings. Dr. Sutariya is serving as a reviewer of many international journals and as an editorial board member of more than six of journals related to drug delivery and pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Sutariya’s research is focused on development of novel drug delivery systems such as nanoparticles, liposome and thermoreversible gel. Dr. Sutariya’s main research is focused drug delivery especially for ocular drug delivery. Dr. Sutariya is has served as a Co-Investigator on two NIH grants (R01 and NIH R15). In addition to research, Dr. Sutariya is instrumental in teaching various courses related to drug delivery and compounding.
