Research Interest
My main interest is to be able to unravel how molecular mechanisms can influence and modulate more complex functions, such as circuit modifications at the brain level, and ultimately behavior.
In this framework, I am currently studying the serotonergic modulation of striatal circuits in the mouse brain, investigating the role of a specific receptor subtype, the 5HT4R, in the neuromodulation of synaptic plasticity mechanisms at cortico- and thalamo- connections to direct and indirect pathway striatal neurons.
