Biography
Dr. Katzman is the Clinic Director and Staff
Psychiatrist at the START Clinic (Stress, Trauma, Anxiety Rehabilitation and
Treatment) for Mood and Anxiety Disorders. He is also a faculty member at the
Northern Ontario School of Medicine (Laurentian University and Lakehead
University) as well as in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of
Toronto. He is also appointed in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University
and is a member of the Faculty of Psychology at Adler School of Professional
Studies. Dr. Katzman was trained at the University of Toronto, first
undertaking his B.Sc. in Psychology and Neuroscience, and subsequently his
medical training and residency. Dr. Katzman’s clinical work deals chiefly with
the diagnosis and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, and recently has
expanded to work with adults suffering from Attention Deficit Disorders as well
as those suffering from chronic pain disorders.
