Biography
Assoc. Prof. Nevin Taşaltın received PhD. degree from Gebze Technical University Physics Program in 2010. She worked as a Researcher at TUBITAK Marmara Research Center and Koc University between 2003-2018. She was appointed as TUBITAK Delegate at H2020 Nanotechnology Field. She has been working as a Faculty Member at Maltepe University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering since May 2018. She is currently Director of Department of Renewable Energy Technologies and Management. She is also an academic editor of IntechOpen. She has been coordinated several national and international research and development project. She is the inventor of a hydrogen sensor patent. She is the author of two books on nanotechnology and sensor technologies, and several publications. She has been currently working on renewable energy technologies, nanotechnology, and sensor technologies in terms of advanced functional materials, sensors, energy storage devices, and hydrogen storage materials.
