Psycho Trauma

The term Psycho trauma explains about the condition of a person, who has experienced a difficult event that has wounded his psyche. The traumatic event is usually unpredictable and uncontrollable. It often shatters our sense of security and leaves us vulnerable and agitated. Psycho trauma may originate in a variety of situations. These include many incidents like wars, natural disasters, kidnappings or hijackings, physical violence, sexual violence, domestic violence, torture, imprisonment, or serious accidents. Trauma may result from a single distressing experience or recurring events of being overwhelmed that can be precipitated in weeks, years, or even decades as the person struggles to cope with the immediate circumstances, eventually leading to serious, long-term negative consequences.
