Cognitive neuroscience
Cognitive neuroscience is the study focusing on the neural substrates of mental processes. It deals with the intersection of psychology and neuroscience, but also overlaps with physiological psychology, cognitive psychology and neuropsychology. Cognitive neuroscience is an interdisciplinary area of research that combines measurement of brain activity with a simultaneous performance of cognitive tasks by human subjects. These investigations have been successful in the task of connecting the neurosciences and the cognitive sciences. Cognitive neuroscience is the way where, brain enables the mind. Brain science explores how individual neurons operate and communicate to form complex neuronal architectures that comprise the human brain.
