Depressive Disorders
Depressive disorders are mainly known as Major
Depressive disorders (MDD) or Clinical
Disorders (CD). Depression is a mood
disorders which effects on
thinking, feelings, behavior, physical problem, emotions, and so on. It is
mostly seen in children, teenagers and older adults. Common symptoms in
children are: Sadness, clinginess, worries, pains, irritability, and pressure. And in teens, symptoms
includes Feeling negative or worthless, anger, misunderstandings, sleeping or eating too much, self-harm, addiction to drugs
or alcohol, even due to discouragement or avoidance by people or social
interactions. In older adults, the depression is not normal, it is undiagnosed
and untreated, and they may feel reluctant to seek help. Symptoms may be memory
difficulties, personality changes, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems;
they often don’t like to interact with the society also. The depression is
caused mainly with many mental
disorders, the factors such as
biological differences, brain chemistry, hormonal
changes, and inherited traits.
