Metallic nanoparticles

Metal nanoparticles are submicron scale entities made of pure metals like gold, platinum, silver, titanium, zinc, cerium, iron, thallium and their compounds known as oxides, hydroxides, sulfides, phosphates, fluorides, and chlorides. The term metal nanoparticle issued to describe Nano sized metals with dimensions (length, width or thickness) within the size ranges from 1‐100nm. These materials can be synthesized and modified with various chemical functional groups which allow them to be conjugated with antibodies, ligands, and drugs of interest and thus opening a wide range of potential applications in biotechnology, magnetic separation, and preconcentration of target analyses, targeted drug delivery, gene and drug delivery, diagnostic imaging.

The journal of Nanomaterial chemistry and technology aim is to publish high quality research in the discipline of Nanomaterial by providing encouragement for editors, reviewers, authors, and readers to have an uninterrupted scientific communication.
