Nano Robotics

Nano robotics is the emerging technology of creating machines or robots at or close to the scale of a nanometre (10-9 metres). Mostly, Nano robotics refers to discipline of designing and building Nano robots with the nanotechnology engineering. The used devices to construct the nano robotics are ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometres. Even a large apparatus such as an atomic force microscope can be considered a nanorobotic instrument when configured to perform Nano manipulation. Also, macroscale robots or micro robots which can move with nanoscale precision can also be considered nanorobots (nanobots or nanoids). The following distinct techniques currently applied towards manufacturing nanorobots are Biochip, Nubots, Surface-bound systems, Positional nanoassembly, Biohybrids, Bacteria-based, Virus-based, 3D printing, and many more.

Nanomaterial chemistry and technology is a global open access journal maintaining high standards of scientific excellence and its editorial board ensures a rapid peer review process and Nanomaterial chemistry and technology welcomes all research works on Nano robotics. It also deals with nanoclusters, thin films, nanotubes, molecular nanotechnology, nanophysics and nanoelectronics, nano optics, nanomagnetism and nanodevices, computational nanotechnology, molecular nanoscience, nanochips, nanosensors and nano-integration, nanorobotics, Nano biotechnology and biomimetic materials, nanoprobes, nanocatalysis, nanosensors, semiconductors, Nano science and technology journals related to research on Nano robotics can also be published.
