Glass materials

Glass materials have a random, liquid-like or non-crystalline molecular structure. They are excellent thermal insulators and electrical insulators, and have high dielectric strength. At ordinary temperatures, glass materials are relatively strong, inert, biologically inactive, and corrosion resistant. Glass materials are heated to a temperature sufficient to produce a completely fused melt.  During fabrication, the properties of glass can be greatly modified by additives or heat treatment. Examples of raw materials include cullet (crushed, recycled glass), sand, soda ash, limestone, and additives. There are many different types of glass. They differ in terms of their chemical composition, the method used to produce them or their processing behavior. Glass materials like Soda-lime glass, Crystal glass, Borosilicate glass, Special glass, Patterned Glass, Gauge Glass, Optical Display Glass, Sight Glass, and Quartz Silica glass are manufactured.

Nanomaterial chemistry and technology journal welcomes new research and articles related to Glass materials. Nanomaterial chemistry and technology is a global open access journal maintaining high standards of scientific excellence and its editorial board ensures a rapid peer review process.
