Nocturia
Nocturia is defined as nocturnal urination, which is the complaint that the individual has to wake at night one or more times for voiding (i.e. to urinate). There are a number of possible causes for needing to urinate more frequently than normal at night and one of these could be a sign of uncontrolled blood sugar levels. In Diabetes, having high blood glucose levels can cause the body to excrete excess glucose via the urine.
