Geophysics
Geophysics is the study which deals with atmosphere, earth, oceans and surrounding space environment. This term sometimes refers to the applications of geology. This is also a fundamental need to the society which is essential for analyzing the water, energy and mineral resources, monitoring the environmental impact. Geophysics go on developing in a wide area of careers which includes exploring natural resource, natural hazard mitigation, satellite based earth observation, archaeological studies, government policy and military applications. A geophysicist study the earth processes through laboratory experiments, computational and theoretical modeling, remote imaging, and direct observation.
