Microbiology

Microbiology is that the study of microorganisms, those being living thing (single cell), cellular (cell colony), or noncellular (lacking cells). Microbiology encompasses various sub-disciplines as well as medical specialty, parasitology, botany and medicine.

The branches of microbiology can be classified into pure and applied sciences, or divided according to taxonomy, as is the case with bacteriology, mycology, protozoan, and phycology. There is considerable overlap between the specific branches of microbiology with each other and with other disciplines, and certain aspects of these branches can extend beyond the traditional scope of microbiology

Viruses are variably classified as organisms, as they need been thought of either as terribly easy microorganisms or terribly complicated molecules. Prions, never thought of as microorganisms, are investigated by virologists, however, because the clinical effects derived to them were originally probable because of chronic infectious agent infections, and virologists took search as discovering "infectious proteins".

Edelweiss publications has a rapid review process, it tries to publish the manuscript within 4-6 weeks of time after submission. Edelweiss Applied Science and Technology Journal promote articles on Microbiology and related topics.
