Ecology-Environmental science
Ecology is the branch of biology which deals with the study of interrelationship of different organisms with each other and with their environment. It is concerned with basic principles that apply to both animals and plants. The study mainly includes interactions of organisms with each other and with abiotic components of their environment. This includes the biodiversity, distribution, biomass, and populations of organisms, as well as cooperation and competition within and between species. Ecosystems are dynamically interacting systems of organisms, the communities they make up, and the non-living components of their environment.
Many People make an assumption that environmentalism, natural history, or environmental science is synonym to Ecology but, it was a wrong assumption. It overlaps with the closely related sciences of evolutionary biology, genetics, and ethology. The one who study in brief about Ecology are known as Ecologists.
