Petrochemistry
A branch of chemistry that studies the transformation of crude oil (petroleum) and natural gas into useful products or raw materials is called Petrochemistry. Petrochemicals are also called petroleum distillates are chemical products derived from petroleum some chemicals compounds made from petroleum are also obtained from fossil fuels such as coal or natural gas it is very important for our life. These petrochemicals have become an essential part of the chemical industry today. Petrochemicals are used in the fields of health, hygiene, housing and food, to name but a few of its thousands of application.
