Chemical Reactivity

In chemistry, reactivity is a measure of how readily a substance undergoes a chemical reaction. The reaction can involve the substance on its own or with other atoms or compounds, generally accompanied by a release of energy. Chemical reactivity is the tendency of a substance to undergo chemical changes in a system. The number of electrons in the outermost shell of an atom determines its reactivity. Noble gases have low reactivity because they have full electron shells. Halogens are highly reactive because they readily gain an electron to fill their outermost shell.

Edelweiss Chemical Science Journal corresponds with many branches of science like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, analytical chemistry, applied chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology and many more that aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the findings and current developments in the form of original Research, Review, Opinion articles, Case reports, Mini review, Short communication. This Journal provides an open access platform for the young scientists and researchers from all over the globe to share their valuable information regarding the chemical science.
