Cyclic hydrocarbons

A cyclic hydrocarbon is a compound which only consists of carbon and hydrogen atoms that frames a ring within the compound. Rings may vary in size from three to many atoms. A cycloalkane is a cyclic hydrocarbon that contains just carbon - carbon single bonds. A cycloalkene and cycloalkyne are cyclic hydrocarbons that contain carbon - carbon double and triple bonds separately. Cycloalkanes are relatively simple and stable cyclic hydrocarbons with saturated C-H bonds. Cyclopropane, Cyclobutane, Cyclopentane are the primarily examples of Cycloalkanes.
