Pediatric immunology
Immunology is the branch of medicine that concerns the immune system of infants and children is known as Pediatric immunology. Immunologists assess and treat disorders that occur when the immune system malfunctions.
These malfunctions include allergies and related conditions such as autoimmune diseases, primary immune deficiency disorders and acquired deficiency disorders, HIV or fevers of unknown origin. The following tests are done namely known as skin testing; patch testing, in vitro allergy testing.
