Genomics Study

Genomics is an interdisciplinary field of science focusing on the structure, function, and inheritance of the genome (entire set of genetic material) of an organism. A genome is an organisms complete set of DNA, including all of its genes. A major part of genomics is determining the sequence of molecules that make up the genomic deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) content of an organism. The genomic DNA sequence is contained within an organism chromosomes, one or more sets of which are found in each cell of an organism. The chromosomes can be further described as containing the fundamental units of heredity, the genes. Genes are transcriptional units, those regions of chromosomes that under appropriate circumstances are capable of producing a ribonucleic acid (RNA) transcript that can be translated into molecules of protein.

The journal of Edelweiss Applied Science and technology addresses current issues related to food science and technology, including research, education, food engineering, food packaging, nutraceuticals and many more. Peer review process is done by editorial board members following the double blinding process. Our journal also invites all original research, review, case reports related to physics, agriculture and biochemistry.
