Botany
Botany is also called as plant biology, plant science or phytology this is the science of plant life and a branch of biology. Botany also includes the study of algae and fungi by phycologists and mycologists respectively. In early botany has a specified beginning of herbalism study and use of plants for their medicinal properties.
The study of plants is essential because they support almost all animal life on Earth by producing a large proportion of food and oxygen that provide humans and other organism’s aerobic respiration with the chemical energy. Plants, cyanobacteria and algae are the different major groups of organisms that carry photosynthesis. Energy of sunlight that convert water and carbon dioxide into sugars and that can be used both as a source of chemical energy and organic molecules which are used in the structural components of cells.
