Indole

Indole is bicyclic aromatic heterocyclic organic compound with molecular formula of C8H7N. Indole is six membered benzene ring fused to a five membered pyrrole ring. It  remains solid at room temperature. It is naturally found in human feces and has an intense fecal odor. Indole is widely distributed in the natural environment and can be produced by a variety of bacteria. Journal of Heterocyclics publishes all the research or any synthetic methods related to Indole.
