HIV Malnutrition

There is a growing recognition that HIV and Malnutrition interact in complex ways that heighten vulnerability to and worsen severity of each condition. And while many national governments are scaling up HIV programmes, health ministries are seeking guidance on how to deal with a range of policy and programme challenges related to food, nutrition and HIV/AIDS. AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is caused by HIV (Human Immuno deficiency virus). HIV belongs to the family retrovirus, that attacks the human immune system especially CD4 cells (T cells), CD4 cells helps the immune system to fight against infections. HIV is transmitted through body fluids like blood, semen, vaginal and rectal fluids and breast milk. HIV do not  spread through skin-to-skin contact, hugging, shaking hands, or kissing, Air or water, Sharing food or drinks, including drinking fountains, Saliva, tears, or sweat , Sharing a toilet, towels, or Bedding Mosquitoes or other insects. The natural life of a person with AIDS is about to three years. Approximately 1.1 million people of Americans are presently suffering with HIV. Of those people one in five they doesnt know they are infected with HIV virus.
