Cardiac Cachexia
Cardiac cachexia (commonly called as body wasting) has long been recognized as a serious complication of chronic heart failure (CHF) which affects many body systems and remains an important and increasing public health problem. Cardiac cachexia is a condition that can happen to people who have heart failure. There will be losing a serious amount of body fat, muscle, and bone.
Symptoms:
The main symptom of cardiac cachexia is weight loss. The other symptoms are like:
· Very weak and tired
· Short of breath
· Unable to exercise or be active
· Nauseated
· Not very hungry
· Constipation
· Changes in how food tastes.
