Neuromuscular junction
The neuromuscular junction is present between a neuron and the muscle. It innervates and allows signals from nervous system to muscle fiber in order to contract. As the neuromuscular junction is active always in order to stop the muscle contraction the inhibition has to be occur at the neuron motor.
Neuromuscular junction disorders result from absence of key proteins involved in neuromuscular transmission. Due to this neuromuscular junction the autoimmune and the genetic diseases may origin; the autoimmune diseases are produced when the antibodies are against to the sarcolemma receptor such as the gravis. The genetic disorders are produced when the proteins comprise the junction of the neuromuscle.There is no treatment for the neuromuscular junction disorders but some cases it can be cured by the using drug therapy.
