Post-polio syndrome
Post-polio syndrome is the condition where it attacks the people after recovery of the poliovirus. The cause of the syndrome is unknown, the symptoms of the post-polio includes weakness of the muscle terminals in the motor units, breathing problem, sleep apnea, and decrease tolerance of the temperature.
Post-polio syndrome is diagnosed by the neurological examination. They diagnose by keeping prior the polio interval and progressive of the regeneration. There is no specific treatment for the PPS every individual should manage their symptoms by the energy conservation and proper medication. Research is going on the immunological response of the neurons or muscle.
