Lung cancer is a malignant lung tumor characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. This growth of this cancerous can spread to the other parts of the body by the process of metastasis. primary lung cancers, are the cancers where the growth of the tissue starts in the lungs The two main types are small-cell lung carcinoma and non-small-cell lung carcinoma . The most common symptoms are coughing weight loss, shortness of breath, and chest pains.
