Arising of discomfort, pain or inflammation, aches, and soreness in different body parts like cartilage, bone, ligaments, tendons or muscles is known as Joint pain. Arthritis is the most common cause of joint pain. Osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are the two forms of arthritis. Osteoarthritis mainly occurs in wrists, hands, hips, knees of adults over age of 40. Rheumatoid arthritis commonly affects women than men. It is caused due to the fluid buildup in the joints and immune system attack on joint line membranes.

Fever without signs of flu and joint swelling are the some symptoms of joint pain. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are considered as chronic conditions. Consuming of pain relievers, Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs will helps in reducing pain, swelling and inflammation. Arthritis medications may have some side effects like edema (swelling of the feet) heartburn, stomach upset and stomach ulcers with Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), cataracts, elevated blood fats and blood sugar levels, increased appetite and bone loss with cortiocosteroids, stomach upset and increased susceptibility to infections with Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
