Nasopharynx cancer is the most common cancer originating in the nasopharynx, NPC occurs in children and adults. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma, commonly known as nasopharyngeal cancer, is classified as a malignant neoplasm, or cancer, arising from the mucosal epithelium of the nasopharynx.
