Metal nanomaterials are with well-defined size, morphology, composition, structure, and had great achievements to controlled synthesis and promising for various applications. However, the crystal‐phase engineering of metal nanomaterials still remains a big challenge. The following metal nanomaterial like noble metal are used which includes (Au, Ag, Ru, Rh, Pd) and for non‐noble metal (Fe, Co, Ni). Electrochemical and wet-chemical methods are demonstrated to be effective approaches to make metal nanostructures under control without addition of a reducing agent or protecting agent. With the unique physical and chemical properties of the nano-sized materials, the applications are introduced using metal nanomaterials, such as electro catalysis, photo electricity, spectrochemistry, and analytical chemistry.
