Mania

Mania is a period of one week or more in which a person experiences a change in normal behavioral changes that drastically affects their functioning. A manic episode is not a disorder, but rather it is diagnosed as a part of the condition called bipolar disorder. The symptoms of mania includes, elevated mood, self-esteem, no sleep, racing thoughts, maintaining attentions, increasing goal activities, involvement in risking activities and Flight of ideas. These manic symptoms significantly impact on a persons daily living.
