Biography
Dr.Sci. N.V.
Kamanina has experience in nanoparticles
doping process of organics, in recording of amplitude-phase thin gratings in
thin films as well as in developing of LC cells and spatial light modulators;
she has an experience in optical limiting effect of laser radiation over
visible and infrared spectral ranges, in medical applications of LC structures
to orient human blood cell. She has published more than 200 scientific papers
in the International and Russian journals. She is the author of the Book
―Features of Optical Materials Modified with Effective Nanoobjects: Bulk
Properties and Interface‖, New York, Physics Research and Technology, ―Novinka‖,
published by Nova Science Publishers, Inc., New York, 2014.
Her
pioneer ideas and experienced contributions in a creation of nonlinear
absorbers, spatial light modulators and liquid crystal cells for aligning
erythrocytes of human blood were applied in technique and were certificated by 13
Russian Patents. She is a member of the European Optical Society (from
1999); of the International (from 1996) and Russian Liquid Crystal Society
(from 1991); of D.S. Rozhdestvensky Optical Society (2002).
Research Interest
Inorganic soft materials of the UV and IR range, coatings, organic conjugated materials, liquid crystals, laser-matter interaction, fullerenes and biological objects.
