The Preventive Cardiology & Rehabilitation Section offers services to patients with cardiovascular disease and those who have a high risk of developing it. Individualized programs are designed to reduce risk factors and prevent disease from getting worse. The Preventive Cardiology program is an integral part of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Its mission is to help prevent cardiovascular disease in our city, state, region and throughout the world. The main aim of Preventive Cardiology is to promote the prevention of cardiovascular disease, advocate for the preservation of cardiovascular health, and disseminate high-quality, evidence-based information through the education of healthcare clinicians and their patients.
