Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder it causes people to make sudden movements such as blinking of the eyes, shoulder shrugging, throat clearing, kicking, these movements are known as the tics. The tics are of the two types such as Simple tics: In this the tics occurs repeatedly in the limited number of the muscle group whereas in the Complex tics: it occurs in the several muscle groups.
Tourette has link between the different areas of the brain including the basal ganglia these help for the movement of the body. The family with Tourette’s are more likely seen this disorder in their family members and symptoms will be different from the different people.
It is diagnosed by
the vocal and the motor cells and also by the neurological condition.
There is no cure for this disorder it can be treated by managing the tics and
medication; behavioral
treatments are available when the tics cause injury or pain.
