White matter lesions are mainly observed on the white matter of the brain. These occur in the age of 50-65 years of people. These affect the nerves and other parts such as the brain and the spinal cord.

Symptoms of these are headache, fever, memory loss, lack of appetite. These are diagnosed by using the MRI scanning which shows the damage in the brain. These lesions do not have any cure but the treatment can manage the symptoms by maintaining the proper diet avoid the alcohol consumption and maintain the proper medication in order to reduce the blood pressure.
