Spinal cord tumor develops around the spinal canal. The spinal cord tumor may be of the noncancerous or cancerous. The tumor may cause the pain as it pushes the nerves. It may of the two types such as primary and secondary, if the cancer is developed in the spinal cord it is known as the primary and whereas the cancer develops in the different parts of the body and spread to the spinal cord it is known as the secondary.
The spinal cord tumor may
affect different parts of the areas such as leukemia, myeloma,
metastatic. The symptoms of spinal cord tumor are weakness in the muscle, pain
in the legs; hips. It can be diagnosed by the CT scan, MRI and
Hormone test. It can treat by the chemotherapy, surgery.
