Cold Sores also called as Herpes labialis due to the Infection with the herpes simplex virus. Cold sores or fever blisters are a common viral infection. They are tiny, fluid-filled blisters on and around your lips but in rare condition you can also find them on your nose, cheeks, or fingers. A cold sore usually starts with a tingling, itching or burning feeling. They are usually clumped together in patches. Cold sores are generally harmless in most healthy adults, but they are also extremely contagious. They can spread from person to person through close contact, such as kissing. The sores are contagious even when they are not visible.
